RCIA INQUIRY SESSIONS - CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT WE BELIEVE?

Have you ever wondered what Catholics believe?  Have you ever been curious about why we do certain things?  Then RCIA Inquiry is for you.  Join us to explore the wonders of the Catholic faith.  And, if you find that what you learn leads you to consider joining the Church, Inquiry is step one in that process.

INQUIRY is a part of our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).  In fact, it is the entry point to the process.  It's primary purpose is to provide a resource for non-Catholics who would like to know more about the Catholic faith.  They come with the understanding that there is no obligation to become Catholic, but many find that what we believe is what they want to believe, and go on to become members of the Church.  Inquiry has a secondary purpose, as well, namely to provide Catholics with an opportunity to learn more about their faith.

The sessions are very informal.  We begin by taking the time to get to know you and enabling you to get to know us.  Then we'll ask if there's anything you would like to know about the Catholic faith, anything you've ever wondered about -- what we believe, why we do the things we do, and so on.  There are NO dumb questions, only unanswered ones.   Every question is welcome!  We'll do our best to make you comfortable enough to ask even the toughest questions.  If we don't have the answer, we'll get it for you.

Our faith is very important to those of us on the Inquiry Team, and we really enjoy sharing it with others.  So, if this sounds like something you would like to take part in, you are welcome to join any session.  Session schedules vary each church season.  The RCIA program also offers Bible study sessions for interested Catholics. To find out when the next inquiry or Bible session is held or speak to someone before you attend, please call Deacon Steve in the Parish Office, 861-1242, Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

We look forward to seeing you there!
