Welcome Back!

Submitted by Cheryl Shroyer — Thu, 06/03/2021 - 3:13 PM — Last Updated: Thu, 06/03/2021 - 3:25 PM

WELCOME BACK!   Bishop Brennan, in conjunction with the other five Ohio bishops, has restored the general obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holydays of Obligation, beginning the weekend of June 5 & 6.  An article in the June 6 issue of “The Catholic Times” will explain the particulars as to how this will take effect.  Until then, we can make a few general assumptions based on what we have heard from Gov. DeWine.  First, you will now be free to sit wherever you want, without masks and social distancing.  Second, if you are more comfortable wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing, please feel free to do so without prejudice.  To that end, we have divided the worship space to easily accommodate either choice.  The west half (pulpit side) is now completely open.  On the east half (tabernacle side), we have kept the alternating pews to allow social distancing.  Masks may be worn on either side.  We hope that his configuration will allow you to feel comfortable as you return to regular worship here at Church of Our Lady.
