On October 6th, members of the Knights, along with a few Columbian Squires and other volunteers, spent the day replacing the roof on the festival garage behind the church, which is how used to store the tractor and other lawn/garden equipment. The project was spearheaded by Ron Forrest. The Knights and Squires provided all the labor and donated $500 for supplies (proceeds from the September 22nd Spaghetti and Ice Cream dinner). Orv and Linda Potts came in and made a delicious lunch for all the workers consisting of hamburgers and chips. Volunteers on the day included Andy Wells, Anthony Forrest, Charles Forrest, Ronald Forrest, Eric Payne, Joe Hettinger, Eddie Pop, Miroslav Krpeljevic, Bill McCullough, Steve Doyle, Emmett Saylor, Mike Jacobs, Rob de Santos, and Orv & Linda Potts

If your children or grandchildren in grades K-8 are not attending Catholic school, they need to be enrolled in the Parish School of Religion.  The first night of class is September 10th starting at 6:30 PM.  Registration and a short parent meeting will take place at the same time. Tuition will remain at $55. per student and a payment plan is available. For further information call Char Forrest at 836-9086.

RCIT, our parish youth ministry will begin October 7th after the 11:00 AM mass. All parish youth from 5th grade through college are invited to come and fellowship with other teens including those who may be interested in the faith.

Do you know of  teens who are Baptized Catholic but got sidetracked on their faith and would like to learn and catch up on their sacraments? We have a teen youth program that incorporates these kids and those interested in becoming Catholic with our parish youth. We use the Youcat Catholic youth catechism and scripture to teach the faith to preteens through college age kids. RCIT starts October 7th after the 11:00 AM mass.
